By using Schackappen you accept these terms of service. If you do not accept the terms, you should not use Schackappen.
Schackappen is aimed at:
Students log in with a class code from their teacher. Children under 13 should use Schackappen with a parent or teacher present.
Schackappen is a subscription service for schools and associations: a flat price for an unlimited number of students, billed once a year. New customers get a free 14-day trial with no commitment. The subscription renews one year at a time, and we remind you in good time before each renewal. You can cancel at any time — access then runs to the end of the current period. Current prices are on our pricing page.

Schackappen is provided "as is". We make no guarantees that:
The developer is not liable for any damages arising from use of Schackappen, directly or indirectly.
See our separate Privacy Policy and our data processing agreement (DPA) for how data is handled. In short: we apply data minimisation and store data within the EU — for students we only store first name and avatar.
We may update these terms if needed. Significant changes will be announced on the start page. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
The subscription renews automatically one year at a time. We remind you in good time before each renewal so it never happens unexpectedly. You can cancel at any time; the subscription then does not renew and access runs to the end of the current billing period. We may change or stop offering the service, and will give reasonable notice if we do.
